You don’t have to carry it all on your own.
I’m Iris, a psychotherapist for adults finding their way through anxiety, burnout, grief and the quiet weight of change. We’ll go at a pace that feels possible for you.
A note before we begin
Reaching out to a therapist can feel like a big step, even when you’ve been thinking about it for a long time.
My work is about making space: to slow down, to notice what’s happening, and to understand it with a little more kindness. You don’t need the right words or a clear goal. Many people begin with “I just don’t feel like myself.” That’s enough.
I’ve worked with adults from all walks of life for over twelve years. Sessions are confidential, unhurried, and shaped around you.

Is this for you?
People often come to me when…
You might recognise yourself in one of these, or in none of them. Either way, you’re welcome to get in touch.
Anxiety that won’t switch off
Racing thoughts, a tight chest, the sense that something is about to go wrong.
Work has worn you down
Exhaustion, cynicism, and a body that won’t rest even when you finally stop.
You’re carrying a loss
A death, a relationship, or a version of life you expected to have.
Old patterns keep repeating
In relationships, at work, or in the way you speak to yourself.
Life is changing quickly
A move, a new role, becoming a parent, an ending you didn’t choose.
You just feel flat
Not in crisis, but not really living either. Something wants attention.
How we begin
Three small steps, and no pressure at any point.
A free 15-minute call
We talk briefly by phone or video. You share what’s on your mind, ask anything you like, and we see whether it feels right.
A first session
Fifty minutes to tell your story at your own pace. I’ll ask a few gentle questions and explain how we might work together.
A rhythm that suits you
Most people meet weekly or fortnightly. We review how things are going together, and you can pause or stop at any time.
How I work
Therapy that adapts to you, not the other way round.
I’m an integrative therapist. That means I draw on a few well-researched approaches and use whatever fits you best. In plain language:
Person-centred
You set the pace
I won’t push you to talk about anything before you’re ready. The relationship we build is the ground everything else grows from.
CBT-informed
Practical tools, when you want them
If it helps, we can work on concrete skills for anxious thoughts, sleep or difficult conversations, and try them between sessions.
Body-aware
Listening to the body, too
Stress and emotion live in the body. We’ll gently notice what’s happening physically, as another way of understanding how you feel.
Sessions and fees
Simple, clear and flexible.

Grief doesn’t keep a timetable
There’s no right way or right speed to grieve. Some thoughts on making room for loss as it changes over time.
